Suzy's 2024 Song Cycle

Hi Friends and Family,
I am participating once again in the Song Cycle Fundraiser on behalf of my choral group, VOX Femina Los Angeles. What started in 2015 as an annual "bike, run, walk" race for our singers and supporters has transformed in order to accommodate the realities of recent years. This year we will be holding both an in-person race for those who want to participate, and allowing our singers to come up with their own creative "-athons" from a bake-athon, to a write-athon, and everything in between. Funds raised this year will help support VOX's extraordinary opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City in June!
I am sticking to the traditional bike-athon his time around, dusting off my bike (and myself!) to ride at least 10K, although my sights are set on making it all the way to the Manhattan Beach pier and back--a significantly longer ride. It's been seven years since I accomplished that feat; let's see if I can do it again at this advanced age! ;-)
I sincerely appreciate your support to help me reach my goal of raising $500 for this group that has meant so much to me since I joined it shortly after moving to LA in 1999. You make it possible for Artistic Director Dr. Iris S. Levine and the women of VOX to continue to bring quality music to everyone in our audience for another year--including Carnegie Hall and virtual audiences this season.
